Art Classes.

At Mas Pelegri we offer art retreat weeks, set in the wonderful Catalan countryside. What could be more perfect that waking up in natural surroundings, with perfect visitas to paint in every direction.

The weeks are suitable for anyone interested in art – from experienced artists, to people who just want to try or improve their abilities in painting and drawing. Non-painting partners and families are welcome.

We will keep group to a maximum of 6. We will use both the natural landscape and we will use a model. We explore all traditional mediums: paint- oil, acrylic, aquarel, colour inks and for drawing - pencils, charcoal and pastels. Each day we will enjoy a few hours of art, before enjoying lunch and then in the afternoons we will visit museums, galleries and medieval villages in the area, or you are also free to relax and have free time. We will also visit unique paper fabric made by hand, to see the full process of creation. At the end of each day we will review and discuss our work.

Mas Pelegri is in the midst of the beautiful naturals environment with only bird song and the soft wind in the trees. So you will enjoy a state of deep relaxation and joy, thus helping you to focus on your creative ideas.

Your Tutor is Dominika Plata. She is a graduate of Academy of Fine Arts in Katowice, Poland. She has presented her work in polish galleries, as well as in Spain. She has lived in Catalunya since 2008, working on her painting, drawing and photography projects. To see her works go click here.

She is an experienced art teacher with adults as well as children. She will help you improve your skills, discover new fields of creativity and open yourself and expand your horizons. Your input is also important and we will all openly discuss ideas, as we can all learn from each other. Domi will encourage you to find your own way. She speaks English and Spanish fluently as well as her native Polish.

We offer a flexible retreat depending on your requirements and budget. For example we can offer one week B&B in a double/twin room including breakfast for 375 euros per week based on two people sharing a room. Then you can book art time with Domi on an hour by hour basis.

A one on one retreat for one week full board, including your own private bedroom with private bathroom, breakfasts, lunches and dinners, 4 hours a day art tuition and visits to Dali's Museu de Teatre and Besalu is 1450 euros per person
A group retreat of 6 people for one week full board, including bedroom (2 people sharing a room) with private bathroom, breakfasts, lunches and dinners, 4 hours a day art tuition and visits to Dali's Museu de Teatre and Besalu is 670 euros per person.
